Marvin Warner

MARVIN WARNER has an irresistible attraction to the Caribbean and all of its natural beauty. The complexity of its elements combined with the celestial beauty of the women’s shapes and varied sizes is his continual source of inspiration. He named his label “The Mudtone Project” in an effort to promote his creations instead of himself; Marvin wished to draw attention to his functional fashion and the organic materials he used to create them.

His talent has led him to work with carnival band leader Rosland Gabriel, completing diverse hand paintings for her carnival presentation “Wings of hope”; a collaborative effort with “mas man” Brian Mc Farlane. His other accomplishments include being awarded most outstanding student at YTEPP Fabric design, Pleasantville San Fernando in 1993. Marvin has also expanded into designing and hand painting both African and Modern contemporary bridal wear.
