Contours’ Fashion Flair, better known as Contours’, is a Trinidad and Tobago based label founded by designer Joanne Jordan in 1998. The ready-to-wear, urban-inspired retail line typically appeals to women who lead active lifestyles. Although the brand has become synonymous with beauty pageants and fashion shows, Contours’ clientele also includes corporate companies, carnival bands, brides and the average fashion enthusiast. The novelty of Joanne’s designs lies in her ability to embellish basic fabric with artistic and uniquely handcrafted trimmings. With a special emphasis on sex appeal, the company lives up to its ambitious motto ‘We fit your every curve,’ while maintaining the basic convention for each line.
This year her line ”CHOICES” is done using a mixture of Dacron and Voile in white, etched with black. Basically, it shows the skill of using one fabric to fit into any function.
