A dedicated artist since early childhood, Ivaek Archer emerged onto Trinidad’s fashion landscape in 1991 with a collection entitled “KNOWING” as an A level Art Term Project. The success of this venture was the impetus that drove the burgeoning young talent to pursue and attain a Fashion Design degree at New York’s prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology (F.I.T.).
After the strong visual impact and enthusiastic customer response made by his debut showing at Fashion Week 2009, Archer has set new objectives for this year’s collection:
“For Fashion Week 2010, my aim is to solidify the identity of my brand “CHIZ*L MENSWARE” by launching a line of men’s underwear that will be available immediately for retail sale in the buyer’s gallery and in the near future via an on-line e-commerce storefront. “
