Camille Harding

Artist Camille Harding’s creativity is the anchor and focus of all her work. Having studied fashion design at the London College of Fashion, Mille then chose to enter the world of fine art. She now works with a variety of media, creating works large and small within differing genres including performance art, carnival mas making, painting, fashion and jewellery.

Mille’s first experience with jewellery came at Y de Lima and Sons in 1983, where she worked as a designer, learning the process of jewellery making. At this early juncture she began to develop the style for which she is now renowned. Using fashion as a medium for artistic expression, she has created collections of bangles, bracelets, chokers, pendants, necklaces, earrings, belts and bags since 1990 under the title “Mille Wearable Art.”

Mille claims that her inspiration comes from exploring the feel of different materials and how they work together. The value of her work lies in the skill and passion with which she creates these wearable artworks.
