Passion Fruit Designs is owned and run by Trinidadian born Bernadette (Berns) Bedard, and operated through her studio in Ontario, Canada. Berns is excited to be a part of Fashion Week Trinidad & Tobago this June, as she officially launches her retail line of swimwear “PFD” especially for the Trinidadian, Caribbean and Resort markets. Although presented with opportunities to launch her swimwear line through Canadian and American sources, Berns has deliberately selected Trinidad as the debut venue for her beautiful swimwear line. It seemed a natural and fitting way to celebrate this culmination of her 7 years in business as a swimwear designer, since her Trinidadian heritage plays such a central role in all of her designs.
The new PFD Swimwear line is vibrant, beautifully constructed and fashion forward, and will soon set the standard by which all others are measured, much as Passion Fruit Designs have done in the fitness and bikini competition arenas worldwide.
